As new homeowners, I won't name the large and small businesses that have given us the runaround, taken way longer than we expected, or quoted ridiculous prices for the various move-in costs and maintenance issues. I'm sure everyone can relate, and some already know.
But I will say that Dryer Vent Wizard of Cary - and Jonathan Barber in particular there- went out of his way today to help me out immediately with a vent duct connection issue that a mega home improvement business I bought the dryer from, and hours of DIY internet research (and supply parts purchases) didn't help with. And he almost did this massive good deed for Free!- but eventually agreed to let me buy him lunch.
This is the level of business ethics and practice that inspires me to be even better in my own work, as well as earns my loyalty and recommendations for life.
